A total of 120 participants attended the half-day events. Specific applications were presented in the live training sessions. The accompanying exhibition facilitated a lively exchange between users and manufacturers. The event was held in the new PACTware design – an obvious innovation this year.
Experts from eight well-known PACTware member companies showed participants how they can use the universal PACTware operating software to make their device operation more efficient. The event focused on the practical benefits of the application. The speakers also addressed the connection to new topics such as Industry 4.0, IIoT, cloud solutions and FDI.
PACTware considerably simplifies and speeds up work with a wide range of field devices. This was demonstrated on a demo wall using a notebook and mobile devices. Devices with Hart, Profibus, Profinet and IO-Link were used. Both point-to-point and network connections and wireless access were covered.
In addition to the integration of DTMs, the use of FDI device packages in PACTware was also demonstrated. Applications for connecting cloud solutions were presented. Participants received detailed information about the scope of services and functions.
The event was rounded off with a product exhibition by the organizing companies Bürkert, CodeWrights, Krohne, Pepperl+Fuchs, Softing, Turck, Vega and Wetcon.
The live training was supported by the FDT Group.
