Our stand – “Unoccupied”
In the midst of many well-known companies such as B/S/H, Fendt, Liebherr, Mercedes and Nokia (to name just a few), we also wanted to show that even as a small company we don’t have to hide from the big players and that we are also an attractive employer in the region. We were not only able to come up with attractive conditions but also with some “tricky” goodies and a great competition.
Although our stand was only in a side aisle, there was a lot of interest from students, so we were in almost constant conversation with students, graduates and other exhibitors and IT companies.
Quiz and coding challenge with competition
Our stand – with “wetcon Manpower”
As a little “appetizer”, we had a competition for the students consisting of two challenges (see picture below). In the first challenge, 10 general questions about software development had to be answered. They had 10 minutes to do this. In the second challenge, students had to, or rather were allowed to, code. There was a time limit of 25 minutes. Whether Python, Java, C or C#, the programming language could be chosen at will. What was there to win? A €50 Amazon voucher for the first challenge and an Amazon voucher worth €100 for the coding challenge. The lucky winners have already been chosen and will hopefully be delighted with their winnings. If requested by the winners, their names will be mentioned here afterwards and photos of the winners will be uploaded.
